DeviceDefender Server
Our DeviceDefender Server Edition is the ideal solution for encrypting your backups. DeviceDefender intercepts backup application writes to optical media, removable hard drive media such as RDX cartridges, and any type of removable NTFS, FAT or UDF formatted removable drives and backup media. DeviceDefender encrypts the data automatically on these devices giving you piece of mind if a backup device or disc is lost or stolen.
To restore from an encrypted backup device, simply enter the password and the backup can be automatically opened or restored by your backup application. DeviceDefender uses powerful, industry-standard AES 256 bit encryption.
DeviceDefender can also be upgraded to include our SecurServer web based application. The SecurServer provides corporate administrators with a full audit trail and forensics tracking of all data encrypted on backup drives and media. Administrators can also dynamically revoke access to a drive or media if it is lost or stolen. Even if someone has your backup, and your password, they still can’t access the content!
